Born
in Nassau, Bahamas, Simon studied internationally with
the West Island College and pursued a one year course aboard
the Sailing Vessel Concordia studying Polish, Advanced
Sailing Techniques and sciences. He attended the University
of Western Ontario in Canada reading Philosophy and English
Literature from 2003 to 2005. Simon then attended the University
of Sussex in Brighton, England. He graduated with an LL.B
degree in 2008 and proceeded to the University of the West
of England, Bristol (U.W.E.).
As
a part of his Bar Vocational studies at U.W.E. he studied Alternative
Dispute Resolution and International Trade. He was called to
the Bar of England as a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s
Inn in July 2009. Following his return to The Bahamas he was
called to the Bahamian Bar in September 2009.
Mr. Darville has been with the firm since his Call to the Bar,
and his areas of practice include Personal Injury, Employment, Debt Collection
and General Civil Litigation. He regularly practices in both the Magistrates
Courts and Supreme Court.
